EMS Magazine’s National EMS Awards Program

EMS Magazine and the National Association of EMTs have established the National EMS Awards of Excellence program to recognize outstanding achievement in the EMS profession.

As part of this program, EMS Magazine presents two awards:

• Paid EMS Service of the Year sponsored by Ferno, which recognizes outstanding performance by a paid EMS service.
• Volunteer EMS Service of the Year sponsored by EMS Magazine, which recognizes outstanding performance by a volunteer EMS service.

The Award honors both a paid and a volunteer service each year for dedication, teamwork and commitment to EMS. Each winning agency receives $1,000, three 3-day core program registrations, plus $900 for travel and lodging at the EMS EXPO/NAEMT Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX, September 28-October 1, 2010, where the award will be presented at the NAEMT General Membership Meeting on September 28 at 5:30 p.m. and the Opening Keynote Ceremony at EMS EXPO on September 29 at 10:15 a.m.
